Since I married Sharman in 1984, the landscape of Northeastern Ohio, where she’s from, has become incorporated into the body of my artwork. There, people like to say, “if you don’t like the weather in Ohio, wait five minutes, it’ll change.” It’s true, too. With the winds off Lake Erie, storms can seemingly blow in out of nowhere. Or, a few minutes later, they can just pass on through.
